Mark Potok is the author of these articles and is their appointed Intelligence Project head. The bill was introduced on Feb. 24th and will become public knowledge 30 days after it is voted into law.. This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. An Army Ranger who had been on his third tour of duty, Kopp was buried Friday at Arlington National Cemetery. Sadly, it's a familiar story: a young man dead before his time, shot by enemies on the other side of the world.
But this time, there was a renewed life too. Kopp wanted to be an organ donor.
And after he died, his heart was transplanted into a family member's friend who had a rare form of congenital heart disease.
"How can you have a better heart?" said a grateful Judy Meikle, 57, of Winnetka, Ill., who is still recovering from the surgery. "I have the heart of a 21-year-old Army Ranger war hero beating in me."

Benjamin Kopp was fighting in Afghanistan's Helmand province when he was shot in the leg July 10. Stephenson, of Rosemount, Minn., said that in addition to her son's heart, doctors removed his kidneys, pancreas and liver for transplant.
Kopp had served two tours of duty in Iraq when he left this spring for Afghanistan. On July 10, his unit attacked a Taliban haven in Helmand province, according to the 75th Ranger Regiment. The fight lasted several hours, resulting in the deaths of more than 10 Taliban fighters, but Kopp was shot in the leg.
He was eventually transferred to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington.
"Initially, it was really comforting to have him be there" on U.S. soil, Stephenson said. "And then it was tough to see him in that condition. . . . He looked like a big, strong guy. But he was full of tubes and cords and wires."
On July 18, Stephenson posted an online journal entry telling family and friends about Kopp's passing and said they would donate his organs.
Maria Burud, Stephenson's first cousin in Chicago, had been following Kopp's condition on the website. What occurred next was happenstance.
Burud and Meikle are friends who had worked together in the 1980s. Burud knew that Meikle needed a heart transplant, and Stephenson happened to see her cousin's message in time.
Meikle knew it might not work out, that Kopp's heart might not be a match.
"It's a million-to-one shot," she said.
It had taken her seven months to get on the eligibility list because she needed to build up a tolerance for heparin, a drug used to prevent blood clots during heart surgery.
But she got a call later that day from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
In the early hours of July 20 — two days after Kopp died — Meikle had her transplant surgery at Northwestern.
"Ben and Jill were so courageous that something good came out of something that was the worst thing that could happen to someone," Meikle said.
"I'm just the luckiest woman alive."

Acting Stupid

Amazing, wasn't it, when President Obama called the Cambridge Police stupid. For those of you who wear blue and voted for him, how did it make you feel? It was kind of hard to swallow, that once again another politician was making a negative comment on our profession even after admitting that he didn't have all the facts. Dear readers, that just opens the door wide open for me to say things about this current administration. The only thing that I plan to do differently is to provide facts and sources for my comments.

We do a hard enough job anyways, but to have the President of our great nation tell the members of the Cambridge Police Department that they "acted stupidly"...ouch. Then he says comically says that he might be shot entering the White House, his residency. I'm certain that the Secret Service loved that. It is a very difficult job that we do.

Responding to a 'Burglary in Progress' call is among one of our most dangerous assignments. The Police have to gain control of the situation and ensure that there is no loss of property or life. They do this as safely and professionally as possible and often without knowing the identity of anyone on the scene. They want to ensure that any offender are arrested and that the property is not lost. They do this at the risk of their own lives often. They want to return home the way that they went to work.

Obama was seen as the person who would be the great "uniter". He has become the great "divider".

The Joker - Part 2

It seems that the Joker posters phenomenon that was first reported by this L. A. Times is beginning to spread. It appears that political activism does not belong to the Democrats alone. They have been using government funds for their ACORN minions to further their cause. Unwittingly, we are letting them use our tax dollars.

These kids are probably not Republicans, but they see that things are not going the way that things should be going. They see that the Constitution is being ignored and that the Leftist agenda is taking dominance. They are in San Antonio putting up Obama-Joker posters. I don't agree with many of the things that they say but I agree with them being able to say it. Obama Sheeple get very irate when their man-god is challenged by anybody. Political Free speech is being practiced while it can. It seems to be in danger of being drowned out by the chants of the sheeple, "Obama, Obama, Obama!"

There has been growing dissatisfaction with government-run health care. The Democrats are trying to pass legislation that will fundamentally change the face of our nation. Those in our government do not seem to be paying attention to the Constitution, which calls for limited government, rather then the more European-style form of Socialism. The current controversy in Oregon, is an example what one aspect of socialized medicine will bring. The decision of which type of treatment or medicine that you should take, will not be between you and your doctor but with the whims of a bureaucrat.

We have been able to slow down Obama's progress on this Socialist program. The people contacting their elected officials stopped their rubber stamping of this bill. The public has become tired of what occurred with the last bill, Cap and Trade. Congress admitted to not even reading the bill before it was voted for and passed. People are now going to Town Hall meetings demanding to know what the Health Care bill contains. Dear reader, you should become informed with what the following article contains. Should Obamacare pass, it could mean life and death.

We have been busy here using our 1st Amendment Right to free speech. I have been writing about my opposition to Obamacare and the continued Socialization of our country. I want to give thanks to the Veterans and to those young men and women who at this moment toe the line, to defend these freedoms. I want to thank them for their selfless service.

Pfc Bowe R. Bergdahl, 23, was captured and is being held by Taliban Insurgents in Afghanistan. I want to bring this to peoples attention. I don't just write about politics. I do have many other interests. I love music, many different kinds. I have always been fascinated by the way an artist is able to transfer their emotions through songs. I can't explain it and don't really know how they do it.

America's got Talent is a good show to watch because you get to see genuine Americans performing. Some are comical and some make you wonder why the heck they're there for. This is just the start of these debates. I have often heard the term that elections have their consequences, here is one of them. It seems that no matter what the People want, the Democrats are going to shove this down our throats. The Socialist believe that they are the radicals and agitators. Comrade Linda, I found these two items on the Internet in emails. I am a bit confused at which of these two documents, you consider fishy? Is the first one written by our "Founding Fathers", fishy? What has happened to this country? Why are we in such a quick downward spiral and all you hear is the silence of crickets in the fields? It is as if a grand malaise has befallen the people of the greatest country in the world, causing silence and mass confusion. I wrote a response once to someone who had sent me an Obama campaign email. I basically stated that if Obama won the election, then this country should begin to prepare for the disgusting type of politics that comes from Chicago. Chicago would fall apart but for the glue of corruption that runs this city, now the rest of the nation can enjoy it. It may be a huge shock to people but it's a way of life. Obama and the Democrat party now control two branches of our government and soon will have the third. This is not what our 'Founding Fathers' intended but all elections have their consequences. It is obvious that the health care reform being proposed by the government is highly unpopular with the American people. It will take the most advanced health care system on this planet and reduce it to the inferior quality that you find elsewhere. You always read stories of people trying to come to this country to try to get the health care that is not available in their countries. I want you to think about this dear reader, when was the last time that you heard of an American trying to go to another country for health care? Do you really believe that Michael Moore or any other Leftist from Hollywood would actually go to Cuba to receive their health care there? Do you?

The Obamacare that is currently being proposed, has gotten such a bad reaction by the American people that the Obama and the Democrats will have no choice but to vote it into law themselves. They have that ability, and even though it is unpopular, to pass it with only one side of the aisle. The Republicans having been regulated to impotent status by the American people.

Obamacare will eventually turn our health care system into socialized medicine. The Joker

It started awhile back with the spontaneous Tea Parties. There was a total blackout initially by the Leftwing media (ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN,&MSNBC). People were becoming aware that all the 'Hope & Change' that Obama was promising was Socialist dribble from his playbook, Saul Alinsky's 'Rules for Radicals'. These gatherings became so large that they had to mention them finally.

Now you can't appear at a local Townhall meeting without having an irate citizen wanting to know why the government is trying to shove it's Government Health care program down our throats, when we don't really want it. I know that plenty of our Insurance companies may need some revamping but, to throw the baby out with the bath water, now that more then what we want.

This is the latest anti-Obama activity that is going on. There are new Obama posters being placed all around Los Angeles. It appears dear readers, that the Left coast is also unhappy with the Democrats' Man-god. You will not see this anywhere on the Leftwing media.

Obama Joker Poster Popping Up In Los Angeles

Apparently, it's beginning to appear in odd places in Los Angeles, but nobody seems to know who's responsible for it.
Radio host Tammy Bruce posted some pictures of this odd creation at her blog Saturday morning (h/t Pamela Geller) leading me to investigate further.
At this point, all I could find on the subject was an April 25 article from Bedlam Magazine:
A poster of Barack Obama in Heath Ledger-style Joker make-up with the legend 'Socialism' beneath it has been popping up recently on surfaces around L.A. It does not appear to be in the same category as the many benign take-offs on the Shepard Fairey 'Hope' poster, such as the one by Australian James Lillis (more of a straightforward spoof that merely substituted a Shepardized image of Heath Ledger as Joker on the Obama poster).

Today, we want to thank God for our wonderful country. We want him to know that even through these troubled times, many of us, know that our faith in him has not wavered. We know that sometimes it seems that our country seems to be in dire straights but we must always continue to pray. Please pray for the continuance of our shared American exceptionalism, not with pride but with humility and thanksgiving. We must always remember that even though we are all from different histories. We are all a "People Under God".

Cash for clunkers fiasco

The government has decided to try to revive the car industry with it's 'Cash for clunkers' program after it has socialized two of the largest car companies, General Motors and Chrysler. The American public has been taking a wait and see attitude with it's pocketbook as they wait for an end to this recession. This might not be it but a good deal is a good deal, but I wonder if it's worth it over the backs of future American generations? It is they who will receive the bill for all this cash that is being spent. The Democrats in their lust for power, are banking on this program to put this country further into debt and have authorized even more billions after the program ran out of money unexpectedly.

Imagine that if the government has caused such a fiasco with the Auto Industry what it will do with the Health Industry. The government is getting more and more involved in what it shouldn't be and is further digging a hole that I wonder if we will ever be able to get out of? I have said often that they should have left that industry sort itself out in bankruptcy instead of pouring so much money into it. The companies went into bankruptcy irregardless but with lots of money unaccounted for. Are you now going to trust the Democrats with our health system? When will enough Socialism be enough for you dear readers? Once the yoke of the Left is placed around your neck, the harder it will become to take off.

Considering the growing popularity of the trike market -- and we don't mean the old VW-based creations made popular in the seventies -- we wonder why it took Harley-Davidson so long to introduce its own three-wheeler. Based on the Electra Glide Touring chassis, the Tri Glide uses a belt final drive to connect a new air-suspended rear differential to the six-speed Cruise Drive transmission common to all Harley Big Twins. At the front, rake and trail have been increased to lend a bit more stability to the package while a steering stabilizer is intended to reduce front-end wobble. For the ultimate in ease of use, consider the optional electric reverse gear for an additional $1,195. Dual 15-inch rear wheels come fitted with P205/65R15 tires.The same Tour-Pak from the Ultra model works on the Tri Glide along with the normal "bat wing" fairing that Harley-Davidson has made famous over the years. Moving all this mass down the road is a new fuel-injected Twin Cam 103 V-Twin engine that offers up 101 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-gallon fuel tank ought to keep you going about as long as your bladder can handle, and the standard cruise control will get you where you need to go with a minimum of fuss. I have had my '99 Kawasaki Nomad in trike mode for ten years now. I'm glad that Harley has come out with this bike. Trikes are becoming more popular in the biking community and I hope that more companies start coming out with new products. Kudos to Harley-Davidson. Ride with pride guys and be safe out there.
